adding remote locking to factory alarm?

I'm thinking about adding a remote
locking/unlocking feature (without alarm) to my
90 200q with the factory alarm. I would like to
set the system to arm and disarm the factory
alarm when the locks are remotely actuated.
Anyone had success with this? How?

Btw- my drivers side door doesn't actuate the
alarm-everything's been disconnected because of
some malfunction, so I figure the alarm would
have to actuate the alarm through the pass side
door?
