Dealers says ignore the problem!

Well, I had a nice long chat with the tech. He tested the oil pressure at idle, it's fine. He tested the sensor, it's fine. He drained all the oil and refilled to the proper level (it was overfilled). He believes that it MUST be some sort of wiring or relay issue. So, no need to just replace the sensor. Someday I will take it back and let them find the wiring problem. I was considering removing the digi gauges and putting in the triple gauge from an earlier CGT or a 4000S, but I really like my digi gauges. Anybody know of a way to add an oil pressure gauge to the digi cluster? Possibly a LED gauge like the other 2? If it's impossible, I may just go for the 4000 gauges...
TIA,
Dave

Hi Dave,
While I don't get a oil light, I did get spurious oil alarm buzzer warnings
which are even more annoying. I ditched the LED gauge panel and replaced
it with a triple gauge package from a 4000S. Now I can really see the oil
pressure.
BTW, when I startup the CGT, I get a 2 bar reading on the tach. That drops
back to a single bar on warm up or warm starts.
Regards,
