ALMS Canada-Looking for venue/area info

http://www.gptr.qc.ca/ should get you the info you need. Camping next to the
track and other options are mentioned on the website. Dates are Aug 2-4. The
sked isn't up yet, but the series are ALMS, Formula Atlantic, Trans-Am,
Speed(vision) World Challenge, and Canadian Formula Ford.

I went two years ago, before ALMS, and had a blast. I suggest buying the
paddock (general admin) ticket. It (along with every other ticket) gives you
access to the paddocks and all the "green" grandstands. Depailler is the
best, IMO/E. But you can walk around and check out all the vantage points
over the weekend.

Trois-Rivieres (150km/90ish miles NE of Montreal)  is NOT Montreal. There is
a very good chance that you will encounter some communication problems if
you don't speak French. But don't let that stop you. This is the biggest
weekend of the year for the city. The Grand Prix de Trois Rivieres has been
going on for ages, and has built quite a following. There are always some
bands/shows/etc. in the evening. Canadian beer and Canadian dollar can make
for a cheap/painful combination!

BTW, it's a street course with some elevation changes and odd corners. Cool
track and atmosphere. Cheap too. $90CDN for the weekend paddock ticket. Go
if you can, and if you can't, there's always Mosport 2 weeks later.
