Burned on list

As the self-appointed moderator of the Marketplace, it disturbs me that
this type of tomfoolery would be going on among listers. Then I thought
to myself, well, anyone on internet-land can post to the Audifans
marketplace, so you might not be selling to a lister after all.

At any rate, I'm saddened. I hope things work out, obviously, but this
prompts me to ask -- is there anything I can do on the Marketplace or
Registry to make things better?

Some thoughts would be to create some sort of "vouch" system in the
registry. If you know a guy, and are registered, you can vouch for
another person, give them "kudos" so to speak. Although not foolproof,
it'll give people a way to guage reliability.

Should I put some tips on Internet buying and trading on the site? Any
pointers? How about everyone signing up at heatware.com? It's a buy/sell
vouching forum that lots of people use.

Anyways, in light of this, hoping to start a discussion.

Mark
