what wax do you use?

I wash using a boar's hair brush, a clean water
bucket, and a bucket with Meguire's Gold Class car
soap in it. I water down the car, dunk the brush in
soap, do part of a panel, submerge in water and shake,
dunk in soap, wash car, repeat. You get the idea.
You can find a similar brush at:
http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=66073

I then dry with a leaf blower (don't knock it till
you've tried it..no touch, 100% dry..although the
neighbors give you weird looks).

When I wax (hood/trunk every 2 weeks, rest of the car
every 3 months), I first wash the car. Then, I strip
off the wax with dawn soap, doing only one panel at a
time, and washing it off *thoroughly*, until there is
no soapy residue left. Only use it to strip wax
please!

I do a layer of Meguire's paste cleaner wax, then
Meguire's #26 Hi-Tech paste carnuba wax (33%(?)
carnuba).

I rub off the layers of wax with microfiber cloths
until there is no residue left at all. Microfiber
works better than anything out there, AFAIK.

Happy detailing!
