Thanks to those who have responded so far...
Here's a summary.
Today's drive to/from work (30 miles total) with AC on. Little
rain---although nothing like the 4 inch soaker on Saturday night.
When checked this evening, the driver side floor is dryer---so the rain/AC
runoff was insufficient to buildup sufficient leakage.
I've checked the sunroof drains. And the driver and middle firewall drains.
Minor leave/needle debris. Squirt bottle test shows things draining
normally. Started up the car and ran with AC on in the garage for 10
minutes. Condensation is dripping off the heat shield (from some unknown
source). Nothing is draining out of the tube which travels near the front
passenger side door sill.
Hmmm, what's supposed to drain from that hose?
Oh---I also checked the grommet where the hood release cable goes through
the firewall... Looked solid and OK to me.

4 inches of rain at the lake last night. Then this afternoon, drove home 4
hours with AC on.
Just got back home and shaking out the sand & junk.... I noticed that the
driver side footwell is wet. Passenger side is not. Checked the drains at
sunroof and at the firewall (by the fuse box). These seem to function
fine----both drained normally.
AC appears to be draining normally under front passenger side.
Other ideas?
