I'd suggest a junkyard, if you're looking to go cheap.  I could be
wrong, but at least visually the V6 90's rear lights didn't seem to
change much year to year.

Even more annoying if the airbag doesn't go off in an accident :-)

   Unless of couse you know why it's on(you replaced the steering
wheel with a sport wheel or somesuch), find someone with a VAG-155x
scantool or the VAG-COM scantool program and find out -why- that
light is on.  Maybe some yutz turned on the ignition with the airbag
disconnected and it just needs resetting...but then, maybe there's a
fault with the sensor, the airbag, the slipring...etc. etc.
