driveshaft center bearing for type44

I just replaced my center driveshaft bearing on my 91 Coupe Quattro.  There
is info regarding this on the 20V Drivetrain page on the 20v.org site and I
think they list the part number there.  I ordered mine from GPR, PN
26111206502 - it was $22 from them while the identical part was $46 from BMW
- shows the extra margin BMW takes - almost as expensive as Coupe Quattro
parts from Audi!  I also found it was not necessary to split the universal
joint in order to split the shaft and remove the bearing.  Email me if you
want more info on how I did that, it was quite easy actually, I just used the
center bolt threads to fashion a 'tool' to separate the shaft, and also to
pull the new center bearing on...
