Well, the cylinder head is more or less new and so is the gasket...
maybe it's just that it has been very hot lately.

If the head and the gasket has been changed recently, then I would suggest
checking to see if the torque setting, for the head bolts, has changed.
Hopefully the head was checked for any possibly warpage, prior to being
installed. Hopefully the block mating surface was checked for any possible
warpage, prior to the head being installed. I have seen all three of the
items above resulting as a problem (not on an Audi, but on other engines).
This is why I suggested performing a pressure test to look for a possible
leak from the combustion chambers.
