Horse patootie...
The S6+ and S8 were both available in a 6 speed with 'uprated' 4.2
power. The 93 and 94 V8s were available in 5 speed and 6 speed options.
Just not in the US.
Considering the power/torque MTM pulls from their massaged RS4 with a
stock 6 speed this 'marketing claim' is just plain stupid. Earlier S8s
were 340 and 360hp, higher than a stock A8 claims today.
