Hi Kenny,
A couple of things: It's very possible ,likely even, that non-GT-R R32
(89-94) Skylines shared brakes with the 90-96 300ZXTT, so this whole
argument may be academic.
I have an older Z, so take all this for what it's worth.... I would guess
that the hot brake upgrade for the 300's would be and R33 or R34 Skyline
swap, not R32. I may be wrong, but if I'm not, then your ad is slightly
misleading, though you do say "R32." You mention "big brake" kit in your
header. Is it? I sense a little information may have been intentionally left
out..... On the other hand, if the buyer is stupid enough to buy the same
brakes he already has on his car when you supplied pictures, well, maybe he
deserves to get screwed.
BTW, what do you know about Skyline to Z32 conversions? Are you just passing
on info from the PO? It may matter if you get sucked into court.
In a nutshell, you may have a legal leg to stand on, though it may be shaky.
Not worth the fight, IMHO, and I don't even live in the litigation-crazed
USA! My gut feeling says refund the guy, or at least try to work out a
compromise. EBay is not meant to be a sales channel where the participants
thrive/worry on the fine print or what's not said. It's supposed to be
straight up.
My $0.02CDN.
Good luck!
Cheers,
