Will Sport Seats from a 90 fit an 80 ?

I am almost sure that the answer is yes, but I just wanted confirmation.

I just picked up an 80 Quattro, but I am not happy with the seats as compared
to my 87 Coupe.  I have found a set of 90 Sport Seats (about 200 miles away)
and wanted to know if the sport seats will be a big improvement over the
standard ones.
