I'm a damn Yankee, but owning a '56 Austin-Healey 100,
I know (OK, I think I know) that "nearside" is the side
nearest the curb (kerb), and offside is the side furthest
from the curb, closest to the traffic. As such, it changes
from country to country.

But don't bet the rent on it.
