MC1 - while I'm at it..bottom end work?

On that note, I am leaning toward leaving well enough alone. I have been
running synth, and the motor has been tight. The rings are seated and
engine using under a quart in 5kmi mostly attributed to turbo bearings.
Once I take the pan off to check, then I'd at least want to do rings (not
that cheap) and rod shells(cheap) plus you need all of the gaskets.
It is not that I'm lazy, but have far exceeded my budget, and there is
always a risk that I could do more harm than good when I dismantle the
bottom end.
I never got an answer on this..Can the block be removed out the bottom
without disturbing everything topside?
