windshield washer pump replacement procedure?

I thought the headlight washer was a different pump, but maybe I'm
wrong. I just replaced my 86 5ktq pump with a Trico pump #510. It's
not recommended in the book, but fit my car perfectly (it is labeled
as a GM/volkswagon pump). Installation required no tools, just yannk
out the reservoir then yank out the pump. YMMV.
