And of course it requires registering with MSN and Passport(which
they haven't been able to push very well because of all the security
concerns.)

No thanks- MSN managed to get my 80 year old grandmother onto a bunch
of porn spammer lists.  Amazing, since she hadn't sent any email yet
from her MSN.net account.  The stuff literally started rolling in the
door a few days after she got the appliance as a Christmas gift.  She
was horrified, as were we.  She now gets several pieces of spam a
day, more than -I- do(I get maybe 1 every week, tops), and my email
address has been posted on websites, in the archives, etc...

Speaking of which, I got some really wierd asian spam a few days ago.
It mentioned something about(I think) window glass?  It was obvious
they had run a spam bot on the archives after finding the site, it
mentioned something about Audi vehicles.
