Kuhmo 712 v Sumitiomo HTRZ-II

No actual experience and the Tire Rack customer reviews give raves to both
tires.  I had been considering one of the two on my A4, especially if I
upgrade to 17 inch wheels.  One thing about the HTRZ-2 (as opposed to the
HTRZ) is that the tread pattern looks like it would have trouble shedding
water.  Just my .02.

Anyone directly compared the Kuhmo Ecsta 712's with
the Sumitomo HTRZ_II?

I have the 712's on my 90q20v and think they are a
great deal.  I need a set of tires for mom's Volvo 855
Turbo, and (given that both tires have plenty of
performance) my priority for her car is ride comfort.

The Kuhmos are $78 and the Sumis are on sale for $82,
so price is a wash.
