Honing won't do anything for the size of your
cylinders, only their finish. If they mike good as
far as wear and ovaling, which in an Audi they should,
then the hone can restore the surface finish required
to properly seat new rings. If there are ANY pits at
all in the cylinder walls honing won't fix it. How
long do you expect this repair to last? What is the
size of your cylinders? Are measurements taken at 90*
to each other different? Are measurements different
at different depths in the bore? I know this sounds
like alot, but if ANY of these exist, new rings are a
pipe dream. I really can't tell you anything without
proper measurements. If the rust is pit type, instead
of just a minor surface film that could be mostly
removed with WD-40 on a cloth and some wiping, then I
think it's done.
