Wrong but irrelevant. I've actually had a stop/go for infringing this rule in Germany in a
cart race.

"However, manoeuvres liable to hinder other drivers such as premature changes of direction,
more than one change of direction, deliberate crowding of cars towards the inside or outside
of the curve or any other abnormal change of direction are strictly prohibited and shall be
penalised ..."
I'm surprised that you haven't managed to read the FIA regulations in all those 18 years. You
can download them from the FIA web site in .PDF form - you want
http://www.fia.com/homepage/selection-a.html , "Technical and Sporting Regulations", "Appendix
L to the International Sporting Code", 'Code of Driving Conduct on Circuit', Chapter IV,
Article 1.
If they had both made the corner, Rubens would probably have had a 10 second stop/go penalty
under the 'more than one change of direction' rule - it is usually VERY strictly applied to
Formula One starts.
