This morning I disconnected the Idle Switch and started the car cold.
Started well but immediately idles over 1500 rpm. Application of throttle
does not kill the engine, just makes it go faster. As the car started to
warm up the idle speed became higher and more variable. Only let it run a
few minutes, then I reconnected the switch and drove off.
Ryan, it will be interesting to hear what the problem truly was.
