Antti, the answers follow the original message,

Nice car, I have the same model as you do :-)

The Coupe quattro is one of the best cars Audi made along with the Urq
(IMHO) and only 7786 cars were ever built between 07/1985 and
06/1988....not a very successful model at that time because it used to cost
_a_lot_more_than the CGT but I think now it starts to have some success
among true fanatics as me and a few friends of mine are.. :-)

As far as wheels go, I know for a fact that an 84 CGT with 7.5x16"(ET36)
wheels, 205/45ZR16 tires and stock_suspension will be okay with that.
Furthermore, 205/50/16 is too "fat" for a type 85 coupe.
A friend of mine with an 85 Coupe quattro as well but with Eibach 35mm
lowering springs is having a bit of a trouble with 7*16 wheels and
195/50/16 tires...I think that slightly rolling the fender arches or
cutting a bit of the inner "lip" would do pretty well...

I suggest you get 205/45/16 tires as this size matches pretty well the
standard 195/60/14 size (yes, I know there was a second standard size that
was 175/70/14 on the 4kq and Coupe quattro models) and I think you'll have
less trouble with the rear fender arches (but maybe this won't be enough
and you'll have to roll them or cut the inner lip)...

Just my 2 Eurocents, :-)
