wierd boost numbers....

Fellow Audi nuts...

Been noticing a very wierd thing going on the last few days with the digital
boost gauge.  Noticing my boost keeps climbing up to 1.5 even 1.6, BUT I am
not having any fuel pump cutoff.  (btw patient is an 89 200tqa stock)  If I
remember correctly, the fuel pump cutoff gets its information directly from
the pressure transducer.  If that is true, and the transducer was starting
to malfunction, I should be hitting fuel pump cutoff, but I'm not.  That is
leading me to believe somehow the display is getting bad information.

Anyone got any BTDT info on this?
