Looking for the supreme spark plug

Was windsurfing once when a boat drifted in on the waves - the outboard
engine wouldn't start.  Helped the guy get to the local pier and checked for
spark by pulling the plugs and setting them on the block.  As he went to
turn it over, a wave hit the transom and moved one of the plugs. I thought
that he could see I was adjusting the plug, but he cranked the starter.  I
was the ideal conductor- sweaty wet suit on, bare feet, wet boat
hull......almost blasted me overboard.  Even though the waves and wind were
the best we had seen in a long time, I packed up and watched the action from
shore - too shaky to continue.  Next time I'll let a stranded boater do his
own @#$@#%#$#@# diagnosis.
