Thats what engine monitoring systems are for- watch the boost, watch the
knock.  Onus is on you to keep an eye on things instead of the computer,
though, and on this point I agree with Brett.

The computer is good at this, people aren't. If you want to find cheap HP
you shouldn't be starting with an Audi platform.
