Wouldn't one also need a means of driving them electrically? I don't
know whether these things are rated to handle a 100% duty cycle,
i.e. to handle being hardwired ON for cleaning. Even if they are, I
suspect there is more to calibrating them than just pushing maximum
solvent flow through them. I'd let a reputable shop do it if you are
looking for restored performance
