Stuck engine oil drain plug

Funny you should ask... I just had the same problem on the S4 I just
bought, the hex stripped in no time. I took a BIG set of ChannelLok pliers
(the kind with the sharp teeth and long handles), adjusted them to get the
most bite into the steel. I then braced myself against the wall, locked my
elbows and gave it the biggest yank I could imagine. It broke free.
Bought a new plug at Zygmunt Motors for $3 something and a set of copper
washers. What's interesting is that the tightening torque (at least on the
S4) is only 22 ft-lbs (same as the spark plugs!), so it doesn't take much to
seal. I put high-temperature antiseize on the threads to make sure it
doesn't happen again.
