Springs are here! Install advice?

Hmm.. Perhaps.  I tried this last night with ratchet straps rated for 2
tons, worked pretty well. Saved several hours and an axel nut since I
didn't have to pull the strut off the car.

It took 4 straps- the first two held the spring compressed enough to hook
the last two over the top coil. I used the jack to do the compressing, and
the straps to hold it that way.

As soon as I got the spring off the car, I put a real compressor on it and
removed the straps.

Still- maybe you're right..  I've always real jittery around compressed
car springs, regardless of whats holding them down. Use Extreme Caution
routing the straps, and make sure to keep your fingers out of the line of
fire..

I'd have been happier if I could have fit the compressor in the tower.
