[Use Extreme Caution routing the straps, and make sure to keep your fingers
out of the line of fire..]
I got y'all beat. I am rather cautious usually about these things, as I
don't need to look for trouble, it usually finds me.
I had a spring let loose on me last week. The cheap garage door jambed and
out of frustration I unjammed it, as the mount for the spring loaded lift
mechanism let loose violently, slicing me straight up the middle of the
forhead. I did not relize the extent of injury, until I found the real
deep slice was on top of my head.
If I had been 1/2" closer, coulda put an eye out or gone stright through my
forhead. I was fortunate to need only some stiches, and real luck I don't
look like Frankenstien now.
Interestingly I had just pulled the entire 5ktq engine single handedly
with it with hardly a knuckle scrape. Oh, I guess I'll give my wife some
credit for cranking on the engine lift** while wearing her office suit -
glad she didn't get any grease on her outfit, or the garage door injury
would have been trivial in comparison.
Can't be to careful!
Ben
**make sure your wife is in a decent mood before trying this and getting
under the car to undo that last motor mount.
