I meant that I'd not take a Freelander off-road. As for other LR's, BTDT.
Series I, II & III, Defender, Countryman, fair number of ex-MoD versions in
both short and long wheelbase and one or two specials with tuned V8s. The
one which I would like to still own now was a semi-amphibious Forward
Control - real fun machine.

Not here. Buy all spares at agriculture supply centres, farmers don't like
paying more than GBP5 for _anything_ so spares are priced for them. Needed a
part for a Rover P4 many years ago, Rover dealer said it was 6 week
back-order and GBP25. Same part was used on Series II Landies - Ripon Farm
Services had a whole pile of them @ GBP7.50 each.
