Boston Globe article on SUVs

The interesting thing about the Royal Ford article, is that in this
Sunday's Globe (sorry, no link, it's on my kitchen table...) Royal is
forced to review yet another SUV... and it seems like it is getting to
him. The subtle biting sarcasm, the feeling that he is sick of these
behemoths comes through between the lines. It seems like 50% of their
Sunday auto once-overs for the last year have been 3 ton 15 mpg "family
cars".
anyone remember 1972? 74?
It's a good thing OPEC is not as well organized as they once were...
