Per,
If your lucky your fuel pump will give you many more years and miles of
service. If not running it near dry like you have been will leave you
stranded at the worst possible time. It's the Audi Gods way :) The good
thing is that changing a fuel pump is not that bad, but it is messy.

1990 100Q - orignal pump died on I93 from NH to Boston. Doh!
