Short shift kit on the cheap

Thanks for the info.  Adirondack (www.germanautoparts.com) has the part for
$33.00.
I went to Volkswagen-->Jetta-->transmission-->shift linakge parts.  It's
called the shift lever linkage assembly, for the Jetta I.
