I would agree with that.  My cruddy old speedlines, peeling clearcoat
and all, were so treated and are holding air perfectly on their second
set of tires.  First were some used Toyos, now the Kumhos which I
mounted myself, so there was no competence there!

They should be fine for many years, powder coat can make a very durable,
hard finish.
