Sounds like a "it was this big" fish story to me.  123mph is a teensy
bit high for a cop to just walk away.

The best are the really true stories...back when Breedlove was really
gunning for the world land speed record, he and his friendly rival(I
forget his name) were driving back from a night out on the town near
the Bonneville flats.

Cop pulls them both over for speeding.

"Son, just who the hell do you think you are, Breedlove or somethin'?"

"No.  I'm (rival's name).  He's in the other car."
