I have the original Philips in the ur-quattro.  Real shame they had to go
with Blaupunkt
because of 'fashion' - the Philips is vastly superior.

       It is always well to remember that Blaupunkt translates to "Blue
Point". It takes some of the fashion and romance out of it. Does anyone know
if "out of the blue" is short for "out of a clear blue sky"? Or, does it
derive from the British term "the Blue" for the desert?
