Brake Troubles

Hello all,

patient is an 86 Coupe quattro, tonight i replaced one of the rear calipers,
bled the line and got all sorts of mucky looking fluid out which appeared to
have lots of tiny bubbles in it. Once it had settled it was reasonably
clear. Bled it twice more with the same result. If i pump the brake pedal
then the brakes work if not then pedal is on the floor.

Should i bleed the entire system in the usual way??? Will this cure it???

The other problem i have is that the new caliper's (it was a used one
actually)handbrake on this side does not work either, the cam with the
spring on it/handbrake cable moves fine but does nothing at all to stop the
wheel from turning.

Look forward to some help.

Thanks and regards to all.

Iain
