over temp warning on check display ('90 80Q) always illuminated

Jim,
It's the Multi-Function "malfunction" sensor. The newer 3 prong sensors fail 
by giving a false overheat signals. I got a replacement on Ebay from 
zzmotors.com for $35. It is as easy as changing a lightbulb to replace.
