Dead 5K update

This morning I re - did the Bentley test for the Hall sensor.  When the 
window is open, the book says the voltage reading should  0.0 - 0.5 VDC. I 
get a reading of 12+ VDC (full battery voltage).  Looks like a bad Hall unit. 
 The ETKA doesn't list the Hall unit separately.
Any BTDT on where to find one, how much, etc.?
