Bypass valve

Dear Chirs

I believe the Bosch blow by value was about 25.00-30.00, but there was an assortment of other items on the parts list for this project.  An Audi new car salesman gave me a copy of someone's parts list several years ago. Some were cooper plumbing fittings, hoses clamps, etc.  Parts all told would have been about 75.00 or under.  My mechanic told me he had to modify the instructions to make it work.  If you are interested, let me know if you want me to fax them to you.  I will check on my mechanics modifications first.  What year is your Audi?  I think Audi started installing the bypass valve in about 1991.  I have an aftermarket chip from Graydon Stuckey in my 87 for about 5 years now.  No problems whatsoever, and real steps out when the need arises.
