I would like to clear up the misunderstanding with Mofocoauto.com

Hey everyone. My name is Nick and I have been reading the quattro mailings for a few weeks now. I am a big time Audi enthusiast, and college student at UW Milwaukee.
Little about me:
I am 22, going for a finance major, and spend about 45 hours a week doing Audi related projects. I have been in Wisconsin for almost 5 years now, and lived in New York prior to that. When we moved here, I bought a 84 and 87 Audi 5000. I had planned to use the 84 as a parts car for the 87. Well one lovely day about 2 feet of snow had fallen and prohibited my car from going anywhere. Despite the snow, I tried to move my 87 and in doing so had moved the gear lever from drive to reverse with the wheels still spinning. I toasted the automatic in this clever move. This is how I became aquainted with Mofoco. I did not have money to spend on a professional rebuild and the owner, Randy Henning was going to let me fix the car at Mofoco and provide me with assistance in exchange for my 84 5000, and help at their carwash. This was all I had to offer at the time.
Since then, I have known Randy and have became very good friends with him. I used to go in there to order parts for my car and I was allowed the use of the facility for work I had to do on my car.
Mean time, I had a construction job closer to home, as Mofoco was 30 minutes from where I lived.
Just this last year, I began to work for Randy at Great Lakes Dragaway (His other business) as the "beer guy" between my girlfriend and I, we worked the beer tent on the busy weekends, for fun, and extra money.
This carried on to Mofoco, where I began to work in service on Audi's and VW's, in the parts department, and helping a little to coordinate events and setup new grandstands at the Track (Great Lakes Dragaway). I had a passion for cars and acquired a auction and sales license through Mofoco to buy and sell cars. I had intended posting these cars on Mofocoauto.com which would let people see the car after they read the ad in the Milwaukee Paper.... This is why I have the domain name "mofocoauto.com"
In the last few months, I began more and more doing my own thing and making connections with other Audi owners in Milwaukee and across the country interested in the same thing as myself: their own Audi's.
Currently, I do not work at Mofoco but spend a lot of time there on various projects, and parting my old 90Q and 5000T as well as the other 8 5000's and 5000 turbos they have in the lot. This should hopefully clear up questions about my affilitaion with Mofoco and my web domain name.
I am not saying that I agree with everything that they do, or that I'm part of any problem/ complaint regarding Mofoco, but what I can say is that the guys have helped me through some tough times and have always been there to help. I don't know much about their products, or customer support, but what I can say is that they really try to help and take care of everyone. Stress level is high, and there are a lot of calls that come in. They are also understaffed. In the last 3 months however, efforts have been concentrated in cleaning up any problems and re doing their whole pricing plan. As far as the products go, they import a lot of VW aircooled products, but make the engines and heads. Their craftsmanship is far from assembly line. A lot of time is spent on the products they produce. They have 30 years of experience.
I feel strongly that they need some credit despite any negative comments or experiences in the past. Please take my opinion in a kind manner.
I regards to the group buy that I am doing, my sole purpose is to provide enthusiasts like myself with more affordable european parts. This is what Alexander Van Gerbig became worried about because he has his own Euro parts online store. We talked on the phone after his question below and resolved questions and confusions.
The other post made by Carlo (impalaSS at g2a.net) which I still do not understand why it was posted in the first place, I found as very rude considering the amount of time I have spent answering his emails and parts requests. (please read his post below).
I have been very busy with everything, and I personally have had two complaints: One posted below, and another from a guy who is on this list who I made a promise which I could not have kept out of respect for another buyer on Ebay... (which I have learnt from. This was the first item I listed on ebay- I helped that person find what they were looking for through other resources).
Otherwise, I have made a lot of reputable connections across the country parting my 90Q as well as the 5000. I always try to ship on time, and talk to people if I am not able to get something to them right away. I really do try very hard, but between school, my part time job maintaining a business network, Audi projects, the recent group buy, my partnership in the great lakes dragaway auto cross, my girlfriend and my social life, I am really sorry that I don't have time to accomodate every request.
As far as the email addresses and usernames, I have nothing to hide... email address for the website and one for personal use. I try to keep the same usernames on each site.
If anyone has any comments or feedback they would like to leave, I would appreciate it- but please don't misunderstand. I am not hear to quibble or argue, just answer questions people have been wondering about!!
I will be having my first Autocross event at Great Lakes Dragaway on March 30th, 2002. I welcome anyone from this list free of charge to the event. Details are listed on my website under Auto Cross.
Sincerely, Nick Kukoljac

To clear up a bit of confusion. The person trying to do the GP is Nick, he
works at Mofocoauto. He doing the GP to upgrade his own car. I do not
believe that Mofocoauto has any real link other than by name with his
dealings. I am concerned that his dealings will be along the lines of
Mofocoauto. Please be forwarned about him. I have never purchased any
thing from him. But I have delt with him quite a few times over the last 3
months and have not got a trusting picture of him. He has never screwed me
but he also has never followed through with anything that he has started. I
have had a few others, some on this list that do not get a warm fuzzy
feeling about this. Here is a run down of his user names and address.

Mofoco is a well-established but mediocre Volkswagen/import parts and
service shop in Milwaukee. Once highly regarded, their reputation has
suffered in recent years. Nobody I know takes their car there anymore.
That said, I'm not sure whether Mofocoauto is connected with Mofoco, but I
suspect it has some link. The guy's address is quite close to the main
Mofoco shop.
I would not trust Mofoco to work on my car. I've bought parts from them in
the past and gotten a fair shake. Their supposed specialty is aircooled
Beetles. Here's a link to a Google Usenet search of posts concerning their
reputation:

I meant physical location, BTW, not web address. Mofocoauto is just up the
block from Mofoco on Milwaukee's northeast side.

Nick is just one of the employees at Mofoco. The parting out of a 90 is not

25 years ago they were the dominant VW air cooled shop in Milw; selling
parts and doing service. They branched out into multiple locations and
covered most import car lines about 15 years ago. They have since scaled
back to just one location and have become one of the mid to smaller sized
import car parts outfits in Milw.
They might have a slight VW focus still.
Very suprised that they would be a customer for a lot of RS2 headlights.
That does not seem at all to be their market.
