Audi engineers frequently *don't* think. Team doorhandle, for instance.
There are others, too.

Time to get onto the internet and start looking for USED PARTS.

Another good place to look is in Hemmings Motor News, in the Audi section.

Call some junkyards who deal in furrin cars and start asking like this "I
need a sunroof motor assembly with the little gearbox for a 97 A6" (or
whatever).

These parts are CHEAP used - no one ever breaks them (except ham-handed
monkey-lads) or wears them out, so they are frequently intact on otherwise
wrecked cars. I'll be quite surprised if this costs you over $100.

By the way, have you shot the super-raccoon yet? Even if he laughs at .22s,
there IS more effective firepower available to effectively deal with
"varmints". Just make sure he isn't in line between you and the car when
you pull the trigger.
