You cut bits off other people's cars when they aren't looking, try for
circuits that won't be obvious (AC in winter, etc.) for long enough for
you to get away.

Either that or parts cars.  The wiring connectors before 1985 are really
poor.  By 1987-8 or so all the external connectors have nice inner seals
and stuff.  In between those times things seemed to get a little better
every year.

So your ideal donor is a 1988-on car with as many electrical accessories
(options) as possible.
