difference between 10v & 20v 90q pressure plate ?

Javad,

My budget - well exceeded, and I am borrowing against the promise to sell
the black 5kcstqw as soon as I am finished my two major
overhaul/conversions in process.

I will probably get new clutch parts. I just rechecked my quotes and you
are right, they are not that expensive and the disk was more than the
pressure plate not the other way around.

Still, I wouldn't hesitate to use a pressure plate that still has a good
surface and wasn't used much and pulled out of a wreck. My criteria would
be if the disk surface is still smooth and not glazed, ie. no ridges, then
it should be ok to reuse. If it was dogged, you can tell. Similar to if
you would replace your brake rotors when only new pads are needed. Most of
the time if the clutch needs replacement, however, so does the pressure
plate, just because the driver kept on driving on a worn clutch.

Not to get off on a tangent here, but I was recently amazed what came out
of a relatively new A4 1.8t - driver complained he couldn't shift and the
clutch would not operate. Upon removal, someone asked the mechanic if he
had dropped it. No, the shattered pressure plate came out in at least 7
pieces. It had been contained by the outer rim of the flywheel. It was
replaced under warranty.
