Converting from R12 to R134a

       I had my car converted last year for about $100.00. there is now a do 
it yourself kit. I understand that all of the old business about flushing 
because of incompatibility has been overcome. It wasn't even necessary to 
pull a vacuum before recharging. The difficulty of doing it yourself (Kit is 
about $35.00) is removing the old R12.
