IIRC, you have a 5ktq? Regardless, the following advice still applies
even if it isn't. What you spelled out above all makes sense, but I
would add that you want the car to be well warmed up, and make sure you
have an appointment where they will run the test right away without
allowing the car to cool.

Depending on what you call non-mechanical, if it were me I would toss in
fresh plugs if the ones in the car are at all older, and I would perform
a careful visual inspection of all vacuum lines.

751 RPM is a tad low--something's not quite right there either. How's
the car running? Smooth?
