5ktq front suspension rebuild

At 193k miles the front suspension on my 5ktq is getting a bit tired.
Struts (Boge turbo gas) and strut mounts are the only things that have
been replaced (they have been on a little while, but are still
serviceable and will be reused).

I'm thinkin' control arms, strut bearings, and tie rod ends all for
sure. Apparently this stuff is cheaper than I recall since Rod @ TPC
just quoted me around $200.00 for everything (I thought it would be much
more).

The control arms come with ball joints and bushings (supposedly
including stabilizer bar bushings).

Anything else I should do while it's all apart?

Rear will be next, but everything seems pretty tight back there still
and the back isn't making noises like the front. I'm getting front end
shimmy, intermittently, with detectable clunking feel through the
steering wheel on two different sets of wheels/tires. The time to
rebuild the front suspension has come. I assume the job to be pretty
straight forwards, but any tips, tricks, and special tool requirements
will be greatly appreciated (I have book-o-Bentley and crude spring
compressors). TIA!
