well, one of 2 things, he messed up the clock spring, or he didnt unhook the bag. dont be scared taking it out, just do not turn the key on when you have it off, maybe thats what he did too, so one of 3 things. if you have a bag out and turn the key on the older systems know this and get mad, you may just need it reset at a dealer. if you venture to taking the bag off, all you do is remove the key, take the 2 screws out of the back, unplug it, if it already isnt in your case. there is no power at teh bag when the key is off, so there is realy no reason to unplug the battery either, btdt many, many times, i install bags with batterys hooked up, there is never any power anywhere while the key is off. and anway, after all this, unhook the dam thing !!! i dont want that thing blowing up in my face !!! and knocking my hands off the steering wheel while in driving, ive seen alot of people messed up by airbags, that should have never gone off, american cars go off in parking lot wrecks !!! ive seen german cars crushed, people walking away from that bags have not deployed, germans are the smartest out there !!!!!!!!!!!!
                                                                                                    brian o'

Is there a web site with instructions for removing the air bag wheel in this car? I have the feeling I will need to pull it, if only to replace the multi function switch.
