Tire Opinions t44

Hey all, getting close to summer-tire time.  I'm looking for 
opinions on a decent summer tire - performanceish, but not 
"ultra high performance."  Cheap is good, too.

Basically, anyone have any suggestions along the lines of "for 
how little this tire cost, it is great!"  

I'm not picky on brand.  Probably want to stick with 205/60, 
stock wheels, or, possibly a 225/50 on the stock (15x6) wheels 
with the resulting speedo error(don't care about that;).  

Will a 225/50-15 fit on the rear without hitting the fenders?  
Looks like it'd be close.

Any insight appreciated!
