In my opinion, Stebro needs to make improvements in the diameters of their exhaust. Namely, offer some
3" systems!
I thought their stuff was almost stock diameter, particularly the 5kcstq stuff. I also thought someone said
the backpressure wasn't reduced all that much. Does anyone have any info in this area. I'd like to be
able to justify replacing a totally intact stock exhaust, for performance (and fuel economy and appearance
and sound, but mostly for POWER).
Just sell me the pipes! :-P
I'll put my own muffler of choice on (probably Borla).
On a related note, I emailed 2Bennett about their stainless 3" catback for turbo 4kq's, asking for the price.
I haven't heard back, but I'm thinking it's up there around $1.5k. Is that about right? <choke>
I'll probably blow the dust off the ole' mig welder and try to fit myself up a catback using separate pieces.
Someday I'll give it a shot.
Later,
Ken
