Subject: Trouble closing sunroof on '88 90Q
To: quattro at audifans.com
Hi,
The sunroof on my 1988 90Q won't close. I took it
apart and replaced the guides, both were broken. I
reinstalled it but the motor only slides it back and
forth but does not close and seal it. The manual
crank does the same. I would like to just close the
sunroof and leave it. Any ideas?
Many thanks.
Alex

Did you check your power steering belt?
[So, I was driving down the street when *bam* my
steering goes hard and brakes go hard.
Whee! Lost my power steering and brakes.
I'm going to figure that this is the b*mb.
I'm strong enough to operate the brakes normally (even
to impending lockup pressure), but its obnoxious,
nonetheless.
Steering while stopped is _terrible_ because its so
heavy (Z-rated 215mm rubber)
Mostly just looking for the cheapest place to get a
new bomb :) (I have the late 89 model, which most
likely has the later b*mb)
I'll pick up the Pentosin from Blau, but I don't see
prices for bombs (?)
Thanks!
